No. But the Euro Bancorp Ltd is authorized by law to provide offshore banking services with License no. 2176136 under the Companies Act 1993, as an Offshore Finance Company , it isn't a registered bank so not regulated by Reserve Bank of New Zealand, in order to provide a good services without bureaucracy. Does Euro Bancorp Ltd use my money to make loans?
No. Unlike a bank, Euro Bancorp Ltd is fee-based. This means that the money you deposit with Euro Bancorp Ltd stays on deposit. The only customer funds that go to third parties are for interest-bearing accounts - Euro Bancorp Ltd invests those funds in government or bank securities in order to pay the interest. Back

What can I do from my online account access?
When you online account is fully approved and unrestricted, you can:

1. Send and received secure messages from Euro Bancorp Ltd.
2. Order outgoing wire transfers.
3. Advise Euro Bancorp Ltd of incoming wire transfers you are expecting.
4. Make transfers within your own accounts.
5. Make transfers to other Euro Bancorp Ltd Customers.
6. Load funds onto your Card or ATM card.
7. Transfer funds into an online trading account.

Can I transfer those funds into Euro Bancorp Ltd on one day and then transfer them out on the next day?
No. We don't open accounts of passage. They always hide money laundering or dirty matters. If you are looking for this sort of account, we cannot help you.  Back

Can I transfer very large amounts into Euro Bancorp Ltd without problems?

It is not absolutely necessary to include our intermediary bank information in order for a wire to be received into your account. However, if our intermediary bank is not used, wires can take a few days longer, the intermediary charges can be higher and sometimes the wire transfer could be rejected. Back

How long do transfers take?

In which currencies does Euro Bancorp Ltd have accounts?
In Euros (EUR), US dollars (USD), British Pounds (GBP), Swiss Francs (CHF), Australian Dollars (AUD), Japanese Yen (JPY) and Canadian Dollars (CAD). Other major currencies can be added as required including Danish Crowns (DKK), Norwegian Crowns (NOK), and Swedish Crowns (SKK). Can I deposit cheques or make ACH deposits into my account at Euro Bancorp Ltd?
Euro Bancorp Ltd accepts cheques from the US and EU for deposit, subject to the conditions outlined in the section Making Deposits Using Cheques. ACH deposit is NOT available at this time. Back

Can an individual person have an account with Euro Bancorp Ltd?
Yes. Individuals may open accounts with Euro Bancorp Ltd. For maximum security and privacy, individuals are encouraged to open accounts through business entities. If you don't have an offshore company and would like to set one up, our trust company affiliate can provide one for you in as little as one business day. Back

Can company, trust, foundation or other legal entity have an account with Euro Bancorp Ltd?
Yes. All such entities, including trusts and foundations, may open accounts with Euro Bancorp Ltd. Back

Can an unregistered common law trust have an account with Euro Bancorp Ltd?

Why is it better to have an account in a company name than in my own name?
When you use a company offshore account your privacy has guaranteed 100%. In fact if you send wires to an account in your own name, you clearly point to your offshore holdings. Further, should a court ever be able to penetrate secrecy laws and require our records, they will show you as the company manager or director, not the owner—if the account is in your own name, you are clearly the owner of the funds in it. Back

Is it possible to withdraw money from my account in cash?
Yes, there are two ways to do it. The easiest way is to use our Card at an ATM machine. Larger amounts can be obtained at the counters of our main banking partner, but prior notice is required. Back

What ID's do you accept?
The preferred ID documents are a passport and proof of residence. Other government issued photo IDs can be acceptable, and several combinations of documents will be accepted as proof of residence. Back

What are acceptable forms of payment for my account opening fee?
Users can pay directly through the website at time of registration with a Credit Card for account opening and fees for company formation or for our prepaid Card. Payments can be made via bank wire, Western Union or Moneygram. You can also pay these fees by including them in your initial deposit by bank wire. Back

What is the minimum deposit required to open an account with Euro Bancorp Ltd?
A: US$500 or the equivalent in another currency. If you wish, the account opening fee can be deducted from this initial deposit. Accounts with balances of less than US$500 or the equivalent in another currency will incur a monthly fee of US$5 or the equivalent in another currency. BBack

What is Euro Bancorp Ltd’s refund policy concerning account opening and company formation fees paid by credit card?
Account opening fees will be refunded on client’s request within 30 days of purchase. Company formation fees will not be eligible for refund except in cases where Euro Bancorp Ltd has made an error in the formation of the company. Card fees will not be eligible for a refund unless Euro Bancorp Ltd has made an error in issuing the card. Back

Why was my credit card declined?
The most common reason for a credit card being declined is that the purchase price was too high to be accommodated by the daily or total limit on the card being used. In most of these cases, the customer must use another card or increase his authorised purchase amount by working directly with his credit card company. Back

If I do not have an account with Euro Bancorp Ltd can I still obtain a Card?
No. In order to be eligible for a card you must also be a customer of Euro Bancorp Ltd. Back

Can additional Cards be issued to one account?
Yes! When you apply for the card you have the option of requesting additional cards on the same account. Back

What are the Purchase/Withdrawal limits on the Card?
There is a daily limit for cash withdrawals of Euro 1000, but there is NO purchase limit. Back

How do I load money onto my Card?
For security purposes the first load after you receive your card must come from one of your existing Euro Bancorp Ltd accounts using the Fund Card option. Thereafter, you will also be able to wire funds directly onto Euro Bancorp Ltd’s Card Loading Account with our banking partner. Back

How long does it take to load funds onto my Card?
Generally it takes 7 business days for a bank wire to get either from Euro Bancorp Ltd or from your bank to the Euro Bancorp Ltd Card Loading Account with the card processor. Except for your first card load, you can save time by sending the funds directly to the Euro Bancorp Ltd Card Loading Account. Back

Once I order and pay for my Card how long does it take to arrive?
Once your payment and has been received and your application approved it takes several days for printing and embossing. Once your card package is ready you will receive your card in 3-4 weeks. Back

My card was lost or stolen what should I do?
Complete instructions were in the package containing your card. If you have lost those instructions, please contact Customer Service IMMEDIATELY. Back

Does Euro Bancorp Ltd offer accounts that pay interest?

Can I use my deposit as collateral for a loan from Euro Bancorp Ltd?
Funds on deposit with Euro Bancorp Ltd may be used as collateral for loans of smaller amounts provided the funds are blocked until the entire loan is repaid together with all interest and any penalties. Any loans made are solely at Euro Bancorp Ltd’s discretion. Back

Can I deposit funds into my account at Euro Bancorp Ltd using cheques?
Yes, Euro Bancorp Ltd generally accepts cheques for deposit if they are issued from banks in the EU or United States. Other countries may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Back

Can I deposit funds into my account at Euro Bancorp Ltd using Cash?
Yes, the minimum is US$1000 or equivalent in other currencies. There will be a fee of 5%. Contact our Customer services to ask more information. Back

Can I pay for the account opening fee using a cheque?

Is there a minimum amount that can be deposited by cheque?

What must I do to qualify for making deposits by cheque?
You must first be an active fully approved customer. Back

What is the procedure for making a cheque deposit?
Each cheque must be individually approved in advance BEFORE being sent to Euro Bancorp Ltd for deposit. The approval process usually takes four business days. To start the process you must provide some information on the source of funds and a good quality scan of the cheque. If the cheque is approved for deposit, you must send it to Euro Bancorp Ltd for deposit and clearing. Back

How long does the cheque clearing process take?
Forty-five banking days. In any event, the funds will be available for your use only after Euro Bancorp Ltd receives confirmation that the funds have cleared. Back

Once a cheque has been pre-approved will Euro Bancorp Ltd give me access to any part of the cheque deposit before the cheque clears?

What happens if a cheque is returned by the issuing bank?
Your account is debited US$500. If a second cheque is returned by any issuing bank, you will be charged US$1000 and you will not be able anymore to deposit checks. Back

What is the deposit fee for a cheque deposit?
For most cheques it is 5%, but it may be as much as10%, depending upon the issuer, country, amount, etc. The minimum fee is US$250. Back

What bank wiring information should I put on an invoice that I send to my customers so that they can pay directly to my Euro Bancorp Ltd account?

A: The main countries we use for offshore companies are Panama, Delaware and the Seychelles. Back

Why did you choose these countries for offshore companies?
These countries offer bearer share companies and have strong privacy acts. Neither country requires us to provide any customer information to the government. Delaware is not on any offshore “black list” and can be useful for many kinds of enterprises. Seychelles companies can be operated in English or French. Panama companies are very attractive for our Spanish speaking customers because they are legally operated in Spanish. Anyway we can offer bespoke solutions. Back
